Struck by a lightning during a sudden storm, the writer Jonathan Barnes passes out. After that shock, he realizes that something in him has changed. Every night he has the same nightmare: he sees himself turning into a monster. One night, during his usual dream, he realizes that he has been injured. Odd colored filaments emerge from the wound.
